Whether it is using agencies for temporary drivers or recruiting permanents, the fact is there are not enough drivers.

So what makes The HGV Recruitment Centre different? The answer is our partnership with The HGV Training Centre – the largest HGV training company in the UK accounting for 15% for all new drivers entering the market each year. It has been training Britain’s drivers for the last eight years and has a large database of qualified drivers.

Each year The HGV Recruitment Centre works with 3,000 new drivers exclusively assisting them into work. We speak with them all the way through the 12 week training process. This allows us to filter out the best communicators and most reliable drivers who we then place into permanent and part time driving roles.

Our clients choose us because of our exclusive pool of trained drivers and our ability to take the best of these and match them to individual client requirements.

Accounting for over 15% of all new drivers coming onto the UK’s roads The HGV Training Centre is the largest national training school of its kind.

The HGV Training Centre takes and books dozens of people a day on training courses so they can become HGV drivers. These trainees are eager to get behind the wheel and get working. What these guys lack in experience they more than make up for in commitment, an eagerness to learn and most importantly, the right attitude with no bad driving habits. For the companies we have worked with so far, the results have been extraordinary, and their driver shortage is slowly being reduced.

Our interview to offer ratio stands at over 75%. We pride ourselves on a rigorous selection process only sending over drivers that match our client’s requirements.
